Portuguese National Railway Museum is a sham.
What a rip off! Travelled across Portugal to visit museum, only open 2pm to 5pm, no unescorted access to roundhouse allowed and escorted visit not till 3pm (2 minutes after our train left).
Charged 2 euro each to look at 2 galleries of poor photos, 2 models and bits of a ticket office plus architects models of new stations of no architectural merit. Staff unhelpful and lacking in knowledge of exhibits. As a professional railway man I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth. Very poor, not recommended.
